Father's Day Event

ASDA’s Father’s Day event media has had great prominence in-store and online throughout the past month, reminding shoppers that Father’s Day is coming up, (there’s always one that forgets) and inspiring them with product suggestions and recommendations. The omni-channel event enabled participating brands to promote their products to ASDA’s audience during this key seasonal moment, raising awareness and putting their products at the forefront of consumers’ minds as they shop.

The in-store event was visible to shoppers on arrival, with impactful event-branded entrance media welcoming them as they entered the store. Gondola Ends and Shelf Media carried the event messaging across numerous points in store, with the Seasonal Aisle being the main focus of the event, capturing the attention of shoppers with a full aisle of Father’s Day products to choose froman easy and convenient way for the shopper to find everything they need for the occasion.







The Seasonal Aisle featured one of AMP’s Branded Bays, booked by Mondalez, to give their brands that extra stand-out to shoppers and encourage them to choose their products over any other on the shelf. Branded Bays give suppliers the opportunity to take over an entire bay within the Seasonal Aisle, with a fully-branded Header, Blinkers and Shelf Stripping to give their products more prominence within the aisle.




For our online audience, the Father’s Day event was available on and, with banners and navigation across both areas of the site to ensure the event was visible to all shoppers. ASDA shoppers could access the event by clicking through navigation banners/buttons on the homepage, which would take them through to categorised pages, offering them gifting or meal inspiration to help them celebrate the Father figures in their lives. Shoppers could also access the event pages through numerous driving media banners which were served across the grocery site, driving shoppers to the pages where participating suppliers’ products were listed.
